At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a sedan causing a multi-vehicle accident was seen traveling the wrong direction on the 10 Freeway in Covina, California. The vehicle was identified as moving westbound in the eastbound lanes near Grand Avenue, according to reports received by the California Highway Patrol. Shortly after that, a collision involving multiple vehicles was reported. One of the cars was said to have flipped over in the crash but managed to land back on its wheels. A total of five cars seemingly were involved in this collision, which resulted in significant damage.Footage from the site of the accident showed a silver sedan and a white vehicle evidently bearing the brunt of the impact. Upon their arrival, the West Covina Fire Department promptly provided medical attention to those involved in the crash. However, there were no immediate reports of anyone being transported to a hospital via ambulance.At present, it remains unclear as to which vehicle was being operated by the wrong-way driver. Additionally, information is not yet available regarding whether the driver was under the influence of any substances during the time of the accident. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
