According to sources, a traffic collision took place on SR91 eastbound, just West of Interstate 605, yesterday afternoon. The incident began with a four-vehicle collision, including a white Ford sedan, a grey Mazda, a silver Toyota Prius, and one other unidentified vehicle.The vehicles involved were reportedly blocking the right lanes, with a damaged white Lincoln model also found at the scene, suffering from front-end damage and a malfunctional tire. This blockage consequently held up traffic and necessitated a response from local emergency services.It is reported that a white Ford Taurus had also collided with a wall on the transition road, blocking the right lane. There were no hazards lights present to alert other road users of this obstruction.One of the vehicles involved in the initial incident, described as a white Ford Focus or Fusion, left the scene of the accident. The car was last seen heading southbound on Interstate 605 at Alondra, with observable tire damage. It is anticipated that further investigation will bring light to the circumstances of its departure from the scene.For the cleanup and investigation, local towing companies were requested, including Navarro’s Towing and Vernola’s Towing. The California Highway Patrol attended the scene and cleared the involved units from the road at approximately 5:14 PM.
