According to reliable sources, a traffic collision occurred on I5 North near Norwalk Blvd. The incident which happened around mid-afternoon involved multiple vehicles – a black pickup truck and a white sports utility vehicle, among other unidentified vehicles. The collision resulted in debris scattered across the road which temporarily blocked the high occupancy vehicle lane and the two other lanes to the right of it.Three vehicles were reported involved in the accident, with children among the passengers. The extent of injuries, if any, remains unknown at this point. Emergency services responded quickly to the accident site. Firefighters from Santa Fe Springs were among the first respondents on the scene. Tow truck services were also quickly requested to the scene to help clear the area and restore the normal flow of traffic. Two separate tow truck services, Navarro’s Towing and Balcaceres Brothers Tow, were deployed to provide assistance.The incident led to a brief road closure, causing a slowdown in the traffic. However, the matter was resolved promptly, and normal traffic flow on I5 North was restored.
