A traffic collision occurred on the I-5 southbound near Imperial Highway, resulting in a temporary closure of the incident area, according to sources. The incident, which involved several vehicles including an overturned pickup truck, was reported this afternoon.Report indicate that one vehicle was seen to be swerving before the incident. A witness, who aided at the scene, said they saw the vehicle overturn from the northbound side of the highway. At least one vehicle came to rest on its roof, trapping two individuals inside.Emergency teams, including fire and medical services along with The California Highway Patrol (CHP), responded quickly to the incident. Additionally, Navarro’s Towing arrived on scene to assist with the wreckage cleanup.The area was briefly closed while emergency services worked to extract the trapped parties and clear vehicles from the roadway. The situation was eventually resolved and the area has since been reopened.It remains unclear at this time the extent of the injuries sustained by those involved in the collision.
