Sources say a traffic collision occurred on the I110 North/W Gage Avenue offramp. The incident, initially reported around 3:51 PM, involved three vehicles blocking lanes on the highway. The involved cars – two black Chevrolet Tahoes and either a red Chevrolet Camaro or Ford Mustang – were initially blocking the carpool and slow lanes, causing significant traffic disruption.By 4:30 PM, it was reported that the vehicles had been moved to the roadside area near the offramp. In spite of the obstruction, road services were unable to locate the incident in the carpool lanes, and so they proceeded with an additional break.Efforts to keep the public safe were taken by responders assigned to the scene. While some units were at the scene as early as 4:13 PM, others were dispatched and enroute by 4:47 PM. Several units were cleared from the scene, allowing traffic to restore progressively.No information was detailed about any injuries caused by this incident.
