Two individuals lost their lives in a plane crash in Chino, California, on Saturday afternoon, according to sources. The incident occurred after a vintage twin-engine Lockheed 12A plane took off from Chino Airport at approximately 12:35 p.m. Initial reports confirmed the two individuals aboard the aircraft did not survive.The accident’s aftermath suggested the plane’s engine became detached from the fuselage shortly after takeoff and was found in a grassy field nearby. Following the crash landing just west of the airport, the aircraft caught fire. Firefighters arrived at the scene and were able to extinguish the flames within ten minutes.The identities of the victims have not been disclosed fully. However, sources have revealed that one deceased individual was a 67-year-old Riverside resident, Frank Wright. Confirmation of his death came on Sunday morning from the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing by The Federal Aviation Administration.
