A traffic incident occurred on US 101 North just south of Barham Blvd. Sources report that a dark grey sedan first collided with an embankment followed by a blue minivan and a green sports delivery (SD) vehicle. The initial report suggested that a vehicle had gone into roadside bushes as a result.Shortly after the collision was reported, another car, a brown van, was reported to have collided with the roadside embankment as well. According to an eyewitness, drivers of the vehicles seemed to be experiencing a medical emergency. Following these reports, the Los Angeles Fire Department was immediately notified and routed to the scene. During this time, the incident’s status was changed from a traffic collision with unknown injuries to a traffic collision with emergency medical services enroute.On arrival, emergency services found a grey Lexus over the roadside embankment. Additionally, a private ambulance service was also on the scene to provide medical aid. Prompt actions were taken to close the incident and clear the area for traffic flow.A towing service was also called to the scene, and an estimated time of arrival was given as 20-25 minutes. The assigned unit was required to bring a flatbed to the scene to assist with the situation, specifically for a sport utility vehicle that needed towing according to the Vehicle Code.Further updates or changes to the situation will be shared accordingly.
