Two cars were involved in a traffic accident near E 121st St / S Willowbrook Ave, around Willowbrook area according to sources. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and found two children transported to Harbor UCLA Medical Center for minor injuries.From collected data, emergency services received a call regarding the incident around 2:58 PM. While there was prompt response dispatch to the scene, we understand that the traffic was temporarily disrupted due to vehicle lanes being obstructed. Arriving at the scene around 3:00 PM, the first responders worked efficiently to ensure the safety of all parties involved.The authorities called tow service upon reviewing the situation. Seven Star Towing was contacted around 3:19 PM and provided an estimated time of arrival of 20 minutes to help clear the scene. By 3:37 PM, emergency services remained at the scene to direct traffic and maintain order while the towing company worked to remove the vehicles involved in the incident.Our sources say that the traffic was soon flowing again, and no further incidents were reported relating to this event. The patients transported are said to have sustained minor injuries, and are now on their way to recovery at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
