A traffic collision occurred yesterday evening at the Carson Street off-ramp on the southbound lane of the I-605 freeway. The accident involved at least three vehicles including a white Honda Accord, a blue sedan, and an undisclosed vehicle. All vehicles involved were reported to have been moved to Long Beach Town Center, though the Honda was deemed unmovable at the scene.According to reports, the collision took place within the intersection prompting a request for Sheriff’s Office involvement from the traffic control unit. An undisclosed tow company was notified approximately 7 minutes after the accident was reported, with an estimated arrival time of 20 minutes to the scene. However, the call for tow service was later cancelled when the incident was cleared by traffic officers on duty.The incident led to temporary closure which impacted the flow of traffic. The incident was reported cleared within fifteen minutes of the initial report, suggesting that there were no critical injuries that required comprehensive emergency services. However, official information concerning potential injuries sustained in the accident has yet to be released. Investigation into the specifics of the collision is ongoing.
