A traffic collision occurred on Westbound I210, just west of Mountain Avenue yesterday, sources say. Initial reports indicate that high speed may have been a factor in the incident involving three vehicles – a black sedan, a gray Mercedes van, and a semi-truck.The black sedan was reportedly facing west in the HOV lane following the accident, blocking this lane along with one other. This was due to a tire in the lanes that was stated to be the cause of the collision. Involvement of a tow truck was also reported.Reports suggest possible injuries, prompting paramedics to be dispatched to the scene. Firefighters were also sent to the crash site as a precautionary measure. The condition of the drivers at this point is not known.Traffic lane access was affected significantly by the incident, with two out of three lanes being blocked for some time, according to sources. Foothill Towing was then called to clear the scene and arrived approximately 20 minutes later.Emergency services worked to quickly clear the lanes and restore normal traffic, but delays were significant. The investigation is ongoing, and charges, if any, have not yet been announced.
