A traffic collision occurred on the US101 S and Vine St Overpass around 3:57 PM, according to data from the California Highway Patrol. The collision involved a black Lexus RX350 and a silver Toyota Corolla, which were found on the right shoulder of the overpass. Officers managed to safely move involved parties to the intersection of Vine St and Yucca for further investigation. The collision resulted in some road closures, yet by 4:22 PM, the roadway was declared clear at the intersection of Yucca and Vine. Sources indicate that a tow truck was called to the scene for the silver Toyota. Jon’s Tow was reported to have arrived within 20 minutes of the request. Units were assigned to the scene shortly after the incident was reported and remained present until the situation was resolved. These units are now cleared. Traffic conditions have since returned to normal and there were no reported injuries in this incident. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in this area as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
