Earlier today, a traffic collision occurred on US101 West at the Las Virgenes Road intersection, sources say. The incident involved a black Ford F150 towing a roughly 20-foot RV trailer. The truck reportedly jackknifed and the RV ended up on its side, causing a temporary hold up in the right two lanes of traffic.According to reports, a passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries including a bump on the head and cuts on the left arm. The passenger was attended to by health professionals following the incident.Later, a local towing and transport company was called to the scene to assist with removing the black F150 and the overturned RV trailer. The company, Platinum Tow and Transport, estimated their arrival on the scene to be within 40 minutes of being contacted.The incident caused significant delays in the area as the number 3 and 4 lanes of the roadway were blocked due to the collision. Motorists are advised to stay patient and follow road signs or the directions of highway patrol officers as the situation is rectified.
