An accident involving a red Ford F150 and a black Tesla led to a disturbance on SR138, close to 165th Street E, sources report. The traffic collision ended in the blockage of two lanes on the westbound SR138, causing considerable traffic.The incident, happening in the afternoon, saw immediate response from local authorities. Subsequent to receiving the notification, the emergency response system dispatched a unit to the scene. First report of the incident was issued at around 4:19 PM, with the dispatched unit reaching the scene 17 minutes later.According to resources at the location, two vehicles were involved in the accident, namely a red Ford F150 and a black Tesla. Both vehicles were causing an obstruction to the flow of traffic on the roads prior to respective removal by the towing services.Countrywide Towing, a local towing company, was also informed about the incident and sent a tow truck to the spot. The towing company was given a 25 minute duration to arrive and clear the vehicles causing the obstruction.One drone unit remained at the scene to assist with the clean-up process after another was cleared. The assisting unit ensured all safety protocols were adhered to and that the traffic resumed its normal flow as fast as possible. Despite the blockage, firefighters managed to clear the area promptly, leaving one of their units in place to assist the remaining drone unit.
