An accident has been reported on Interstate 10 eastbound lanes, just west of Indian Hill Boulevard. According to sources, a school bus was involved in a collision with an unknown vehicle, resulting in the slow lane being blocked.The information indicates that at 3:53 PM, an involved individual in a dark grey Nissan Rogue reported being in a collision with the school bus. This person, who is reportedly nine months pregnant has indicated that medical assistance was required at the scene.The initial reporting of the traffic collision came in at 3:49 PM. Further information included an open line at 3:50 PM which was subsequently redialed to gain more information about the incident.As soon as the accident was reported, a unit was assigned to attend the scene at 3:52 PM and was en route to the location shortly thereafter.At this time, it is not known how many, if any, students were aboard the school bus during the accident nor the condition of those involved in the accident. The traffic situation in and around the area might be affected until the accident scene has been cleared. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes if possible.
