A traffic collision occurred on I405 Northbound near Burbank Boulevard, causing serious traffic disruptions. According to information from sources, two vehicles, a black Toyota Corolla and a grey sedan, were involved in the collision. It also detailed that the Toyota Corolla had overturned as a result of the impact. The accident caused significant traffic disruption, with all lanes reported as blocked at one point. The high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane and lane one were the first lanes reported as blocked due to the accident. Witnesses at the scene reported that people were trying to assist those trapped in the vehicles by breaking the vehicle’s windows.Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene. One of the sources provided information about the towing service that was requested to handle vehicle removal. The towing service was contacted and provided with an estimated time of arrival of 20-25 minutes. Upon arrival, the HOV lane was opened to alleviate some of the traffic congestion.Those involved in the accident caused blockages in lanes 2, 3, and 4 of the highway. The occupants of the vehicles were reportedly still trapped in their vehicles when the first responders arrived.
