A traffic collision occurred on the eastbound lane of Interstate 10, just west of South Normandie Avenue, according to sources. The incident involved a black Porsche SUV and a Tesla Model Y. Reported at approximately 5:00 PM, the incident resulted in the blocking of the number three lane. Emergency response teams were alerted of the situation, with the first available units dispatched immediately following the call. The Los Angeles Fire Department soon arrived on scene, following hearing of the incident.Individuals involved in the collision were situated on the collector road, a part of the freeway intended for the slow movement of exiting traffic. One party involved in the incident complained of chest and neck pain to a Freeway Service Patrol officer. This led to the classification of the incident’s status being upgraded to an en-route emergency response.In an efficient response, the roadway was successfully cleared by towing units at around 5:47 PM.
