According to sources, a traffic collision occurred on the SR14 south to the W Avenue L off-ramp yesterday. A blue pickup truck was reported to have collided against the central divider rail. Shortly after the incident a male was spotted outside the vehicle, walking around but it was not clear whether he suffered any injuries. It was also reported that the incident did not block traffic as the vehicle was against the central divider railing. Following the accident, the area was promptly attended to by local emergency units who were dispatched to the scene. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was alerted to possibly extend their assistance if needed.Further, it was noted that several rocks were scattered on the roadway as a result of the collision. Cleanup was necessitated and a sweeper team was requested to clear the site and ensure the safety of other road users.The units on the scene were successful in implementing their duties and were subsequently cleared from the site. No further details regarding the condition of the male or any possible charges have been released at this point. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
