A traffic collision was reported southbound on Interstate 5 near Concord Street, leading to significant traffic delays. Sources say that the incident involved a motorcycle and a semi-truck. The unfortunate motorcyclist reported by witnesses was underneath the semi-truck.The collision led to a temporary closure of the second lane of the highway. Responding units were assigned to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. According to sources, the Los Angeles Fire Department was also contacted to provide assistance.A witness reportedly identified a white Honda with the license plate number 9YSZ700 as being involved in causing the accident. It is yet to be confirmed if this vehicle fled the scene leading to a potential hit and run situation.In response to the interference with the traffic flow, authorities arranged for a tow truck from US Tow. This company was expected to reach the location within 25 to 30 minutes of the request. Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Car Carrier reported complications and was unable to reach the scene within the expected time frame.The traffic conditions returned to normal after the removal of the vehicles involved in the collision, and the units were subsequently cleared.
