Sources report that a traffic accident occurred on the southbound Interstate 605 (I-605) leading to the east bound State Route 91 (SR-91) interchange. Reportedly, the incident took place due to a one-car crash involving a black Chevrolet or Dodge Charger on the transition road.The vehicle, said to be involved in the accident, apparently ran off the road and down an embankment. The casualty trapped inside the vehicle was reported to be an older male, who had been observed emerging and communicating post-accident. However, the car commenced to smoke shortly after the crash.In the event’s aftermath, professional help was enlisted. Two particular vehicle recovery services were contacted to aid in clearing the accident scene. One was required for the black Chevrolet Camaro and the other for a silver Mercedes with license plate 9JOC578. To ensure the proper handling of road safety during the accident’s clearing procedures, a traffic break was implemented at Rosecrans. This led to a temporary closure of all lanes of the I-605 freeway at Alondra.The incident resulted in only minor injuries, according to the latest updates. However, for further medical examination, the involved party was taken to Saint Francis.The cleanup process entailed removing approximately a 100 feet of cable from the accident site. This operation required a heavy-duty tow truck, which was dispatched to the scene with an estimated arrival time of 45 minutes.Authorities have since reopened the southbound I-605 to westbound SR-91.
