The motorcycle was reportedly leaking fuel and remained in lanes following the incident. Eyewitness accounts indicate that the rider was seen exiting the motorcycle and moving to the center divide. Further, an unidentified red vehicle with a dragging muffler was also noted to be blocking the lanes. The exact relationship of this vehicle to the collision remains unclear. Emergency services were promptly notified, including the Fire Department, which was on the scene shortly after the incident occurred. A towing service was also called to remove the motorcycle from the freeway.In response to the incident, a traffic alert was issued advising motorists of delays of up to 35 minutes due to the collision. The alert specifically cited the high occupancy vehicle and the first lane as affected by the incident. Finally, sources report that there was an additional vehicle involved in this incident that fled the scene. This vehicle is currently identified as a possible red SUV; however, the make and model remain unknown.Traffic authorities arrived on scene, along with a tow truck to clear up the roadway.
