The two vehicles collided, resulting in the blocking of northbound lanes.Sources say that emergency services were alerted to the incident around 5:32 PM. It was noted that the Los Angeles County Fire Department was initially contacted, but they advised that the area fell under the jurisdiction of the San Bernardino County Fire Department. Consequently, the latter was subsequently requested.As of 5:52 PM reports indicate that San Bernardino County Fire Department was still en route to the scene. It was not immediately clear if any injuries were sustained by the occupants of the vehicles involved.The circumstances that led to the collision are still under investigation.
