Yesterday around 4pm, sources confirm a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and E Woodbury Road in Pasadena, California. Two vehicles, a gold Nissan Maxima and a white Honda Civic, were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles, the Nissan Maxima, reportedly experienced significant axle and front end damage. Sources indicate the intersection was blocked as a result of the collision, causing traffic delays in the area. Emergency services responded quickly to the incident. A tow truck from Royal Coaches Towing in Azusa was dispatched and arrived on scene within 20 minutes of the collision to remove the damaged vehicle. The severity of the collision initially unknown, later was identified as significant enough to require emergency medical attention. Emergency medical services were therefore called to the scene. Several units from the local law enforcement agency were assigned to the incident. The officers arrived at the scene promptly to manage the traffic and undertake the necessary accident investigation procedures. As of late yesterday evening, the units had cleared the scene. The incident is currently under further investigation. No further information, such as the current condition of the drivers or any potential causes of the accident, has been released at this time. Drivers are urged to exercise caution when travelling through this area.
