A Pasadena neighborhood found itself without power early Saturday morning following a significant car crash, according to authorities. The incident, during which three individuals lost their lives, occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Foothill Boulevard near Vista Avenue.Approximately 46 households experienced an immediate power outage after the crash. Visuals from the scene depict a severely damaged white sedan and extensive debris across the street, including a heavily affected building. Six individuals were inside the vehicle at the time, a Tesla Model 3. Tragically, half of the vehicle’s occupants perished in the accident while the other three are currently in a critical condition, as stated by law enforcement. So far, no further information about the victims’ identities has been provided. Foothill Boulevard, from Craig Avenue to Sierra Madre Boulevard, has been closed in both directions as authorities continue with their investigation. Crews from the local water and power companies were on-site attempting to restore services. No information about how long the power outage will last or when the road will be reopened, has been given yet.
