Two individuals lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning on Alameda Street in Los Angeles’ Wilmington neighborhood, sources confirmed. The severe crash took place at approximately 2:10 a.m. involving a Nissan SUV that was heading south on Alameda.According to details obtained from investigations, the SUV collided with a concrete center divider positioned under an overpass. Subsequently, the vehicle burst into flames. When the fire department arrived at the scene, they managed to put out the fire and found two victims inside the burnt vehicle.Eyewitness accounts and footage from the scene reveal a considerable degree of wreckage from the collision. The metal guardrail in front of the concrete divider was notably damaged due to the force of the accident, indicating a significant impact. Cleanup crews were subsequently involved in clearing the debris from the accident site.The two victims, whose identities were not immediately disclosed, were unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances regarding whether the victims were wearing seat belts during the collision are still unknown.Traffic was disrupted with Alameda Street between East O Street and Sepulveda Boulevard closed as authorities managed the aftermath of the accident.
