A multi-vehicle collision was reported to have occured on I105 East, Central Avenue Onramp. The reported incident comprised of the involvement of three vehicles: a silver Toyota Corolla, a silver Ford Explorer and a grey Sedan which, after collision, were blocking the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) and the first lane, or Lane Number 1. Subsequent reports suggested possible injuries as a result of the incident, prompting the dispatch of the Los Angeles County Fire Department on the scene. The accident site was confirmed to be Eastbound along the 105 highway, just east of Central. The collision incurred traffic constraints with the left three lanes of the expressway being obstructed. In response to the piled vehicles, three recovery trucks were requested to clear the scene. Due to the heavy traffic reported at the incident, implementing a traffic break was deemed unfeasible. The arrival time of the recovery trucks was estimated to be within 15 to 20 minutes. The traffic flow patterns were reported to still be heavily impacted with a traffic officer who was approximately 10 minutes away from the scene. At the initial report time of the collision, the injuries that occurred were unspecified. However, due to the complications of the collision, the accident status was later escalated in severity, indicating serious injuries of involved parties.
