A tragic multi-car accident on July 12 on Interstate 10 just outside Quartzsite, Arizona claimed the lives of a Menifee, California mother and her three young daughters. Their family and community are grappling with the devastating loss following their return trip from Texas.According to investigators from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a utility truck carrying asphalt rammed into the rear section of the family’s vehicle as traffic slowed down due to a highway repaving project. The impact triggered a five-vehicle collision that resulted in the deaths of all six passengers in the family’s car, including the mother’s friend and her daughter.The victims have been identified as Olivia Perez, aged 12, her sisters Emalynn, 11, and Giana, 8, along with their mother. The young girls were remembered by their aunt, Kasandra Tunchez, as incredibly smart and respectful.
