A multi-vehicle crash resulted in eight people sustaining injuries, with two of them in serious condition. The incident occurred on West Hubbard Street on Thursday afternoon, with authorities receiving the report just before 3 p.m.Visuals from the scene showed at least four vehicles involved in the collision, all sustaining significant damage. One of the vehicles was observed to be flipped over onto its roof. The gravity of the damage points to a severe impact from the crash.Initial records suggested that up to nine people might have been hurt from the accident. However, sources corrected this figure to eight, two of which decided against being transported to local hospitals for further examination. Among the six individuals who were transported, two were adults in a serious condition while the remaining four were children ranging between the ages of 6 and 12.The children all had minor injuries but sources noted the situation could have been much more dire. In the vehicles involved, it was observed that some of the children were not properly restrained during the time of the accident. There were instances where child car seats were not used and cases where at least two children were sharing one seat belt. Notwithstanding, none of the passengers were ejected from their vehicles during the incident.
