A traffic collision occurred on northbound SR14, just north of the Santa Clara River, as reported by concerned citizens and confirmed by the California Highway Patrol. The incident, which involved a single vehicle, occurred around 6:01 PM yesterday.According to witnesses, a black sedan was involved in a collision resulting in the vehicle being lodged on an embankment. Following the initial incident, there were also reports of a gray Toyota and another unidentified vehicle stopping on the side of the road, although it wasn’t clear if these vehicles were also involved in the collision.Emergency services, including the Fire Service, responded promptly at the scene taking the right side of the 4th lane. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was alerted about the situation around 6:03 PM and subsequently arrived on the scene to provide necessary assistance. One individual was transported from the scene due to injuries sustained during the crash. The severity of the injuries and current status of the individual are unknown.Around 6:14 PM, Franco’s Towing Service was requested to retrieve the gray Toyota that suffered considerable damage. According to information shared by the towing service, the vehicles were eventually towed at the owners’ request.By 6:43 PM, all emergency services units on scene had cleared the area and the incident was officially closed.
