Sources reported an incident on the SR60 west / Diamond Bar boulevard off-ramp. The incident was initially reported as a traffic collision without injuries. However, the situation escalated, and it was later reclassified as a traffic collision with emergency response unit en route. An individual who was caught in an accident between a white work van and a gray Toyota Tacoma was unconscious inside the vehicle. As typical in car accidents, the other party claimed they had not hit the vehicle. To handle the situation better, authorities held off all lanes of the off-ramp to secure the area. Emergency services were informed about the accident and promptly sent to attend to the unconscious person. Due to the ongoing investigation and the initial response, the number 1 lane has been re-opened allowing traffic to pass on the off-ramp. More details will follow as the situation unfolds and the results of the investigation are released.
