In a tragic incident in Ventura, two people were killed during the early hours of Saturday when a wrong-way driver collided head-on with another vehicle on the 101 Freeway near Emma Wood State Beach, according to local sources. Authorities were first alerted to the situation around 2:30 a.m. following reports received about a car heading south in the northbound lanes.
