The collision took place on Tuesday evening around 8:02 pm. Responding to the scene, officers found the two pedestrians injured on the street. The woman was immediately transported to a local hospital where she is being treated for severe injuries. Tragically, the young child was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda Accord was subjected to a field sobriety test soon after the incident on May 28, 2024. The results of the test are still unknown.
