Sources say a traffic collision caused significant traffic delays on the eastbound Californian Highway I10 near MANNING Avenue on Friday afternoon. The vehicular incident involved a white Chevrolet Silverado and a light-brown Nissan SUV. Witnesses were unsure if both vehicles were drivable after the accident. The collision initially blocked the #1 lane, with efforts made to move the vehicles to the roadside to ease the congestion. The fire department was reported on scene and occupied the slow lane during their operation. However, despite these efforts, the Accident Investigation Team was still forced to shut down the #1 lane temporarily. Two vehicles were ultimately involved in the incident, and the nature of injuries was classified as Complaint of Pain (COP), a term indicating minor visible or claimed injuries. A stranded motorist, operating a gray Kia Sorento, was also aided during this situation. Their vehicle was stationed in the general-purpose lane, requiring additional assisted mobility. Due to these combined incidents, drivers were advised to expect delays while travelling in the eastbound direction near MANNING Avenue. As of this reporting, traffic management measures have been implemented to mitigate disruption and restore the regular flow of traffic.
