According to sources, a traffic collision occurred today at Nadeau and Alameda streets involving multiple vehicles, including a gray Honda minivan and a black Chevrolet Tahoe. Initial reports came in at approximately 3:30 PM stating that the accident involved four vehicles, one of which ended up on the sidewalk. Witnesses report that those involved immediately exited their vehicles, leaving the damaged cars blocking the intersection. California Highway Patrol units were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. About 20 minutes later, officials called for backup in the form of two flatbed tow trucks to clear the area. It’s estimated that the tow trucks arrived about 40 minutes after the initial incident. In the cleanup process, additional help was required leading to another call for a third tow truck. The damage from the accident had a significant impact on the area, with the intersection remaining blocked for more than an hour. As of the time of reporting, it’s unclear what caused the collision. The investigation continues, and the law enforcement has yet to release any further details surrounding the incident or any potential injuries sustained. Local residents and travelers are urged to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
