Sources report that a multi-vehicle collision occurred yesterday afternoon on Interstate 5 (I5) north, near Sheldon Street. The accident involved three vehicles: a white van, a black Bronco, and an unidentified third vehicle. Initial reports indicated that the vehicles were obstructing the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane and lane #1.In their initial response, emergency services suspected injuries might be imminent and promptly dispatched medical aid to the scene. It was later confirmed that one individual involved in the accident had sustained injuries. This individual was subsequently transported to Panorama Hospital for treatment.While investigations were underway, law enforcement agencies cleared the roadway. Two parties involved in the collision were reported off at Sheldon Street. An attempt to request vehicle towing services had initiated but was later cancelled, as it was not required.Law enforcement has since concluded their investigation and all related incidents were closed for the day. Drivers were advised to exercise caution while passing along this route.
