Sources say a traffic collision took place on SR91 East at Norwalk Blvd impacting traffic. The incident which began around 4:39PM involved a white BMW sedan and a white pickup truck. Both vehicles have taken to the right shoulder of the road post the accident. According to responders, the white BMW was partially blocking the slow lane. This caused the Freeway Service Patrol to reach the scene and effectively control the traffic situation. By 4:55 PM, the Freeway Service Patrol had successfully managed to close off their incident guiding traffic to flow in a regulated manner.Following the collision, the Los Angeles County Fire Department was immediately contacted and it was at the scene alongside law enforcement officials by around 4:51PM. To ensure public safety, a unit was assigned at 4:40 PM that had reached the scene by 4:51 PM.It’s not yet clear if there were any injuries incurred from the collision. More details regarding the accident are expected to follow as investigation continues. Motorists in the area are advised to take alternate routes if possible and give way to emergency vehicles.
