Simultaneously, a request was made around 2:00 PM for a tow truck to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.City Terrace Tow was contacted and provided a 20-minute estimated time of arrival. As of 2:16 PM, the fire department incident number 98 was reported concluded, and lane one reopened.Local law enforcement officers were present and remained at the scene until approximately 2:58 PM, ensuring safety protocols were followed and overseeing the clearance of the scene. Both lanes are now open and traffic is flowing normally. Drivers in the area at the time of the incident were advised to seek alternate routes as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
