Sources have reported a traffic collision at Manhattan Beach Blvd and Doty Avenue. Two vehicles were involved in the accident – a black Honda Prologue and a grey Kia. According to witness, the driver of the grey Kia allegedly ran a red light. The accident resulted in the black Honda Prologue obstructing lanes of traffic, causing disruption on a busy city street. One male occupant from the black Honda sustained injuries to his knee and side. Emergency services were promptly informed and arrived on the scene at 3:37 PM, approximately 11 minutes post the reported incident time. Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACOFD) was made aware of the situation and requested an estimated time of arrival (ETA).There was a request for two flatbed tow trucks to clear the lanes blocked by the collision. Frank Scotto Towing was notified and estimated their arrival within 25 minutes with two flatbeds. The incident has caused significant traffic disruption and motorists have been advised to choose alternate routes where possible. The situation underscores the need for motorists to adhere strictly to traffic laws to prevent similar incidents. Law enforcement agencies are working diligently to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow.
