According to state records and local sources, there was a traffic collision reported at 2:45 PM yesterday on Interstate 405, North of Hillcrest Blvd. The incident involved a white Ford Mach E and a gray Tesla, which initially blocked the fast-moving traffic lane.By 2:47 PM, with at least two of the vehicles continuing to obstruct the lanes and drivers vacating their vehicles, the situation led to a temporary stoppage of all lanes. Reports also mentioned the presence of a black SUV parked at the side of the road, believed to be involved in the collision. The authorities were alerted to the situation and were enroute to the incident site.By 2:59 PM, units arrived at the scene. As part of the emergency response, traffic lanes three and four were reopened around 3:12 PM, with lanes one and two being partially obstructed due to emergency services at the scene. Subsequent to the traffic assessment, two flatbed tow trucks were requested.One person involved in the incident was reported to be transported to Centinela Hospital. It is currently unknown what their condition is. By 3:36 PM, vehicles involved in the collision were moved to the roadside, and all lanes were reopened.
