A traffic collision occurred today on Sr60 E near Garey Ave. Initial activations were received around 3:42 PM, highlighting a reported collision between a brown Buick and a brown Honda Accord on the right side of the road, sources say.According to updates, the nature of the incident escalated from a no injury collision to a collision with emergency response services in transit. Local assistance in the form of the Freeway Service Patrol was called upon to help in managing the aftermath of the incident, sources report.There were requests made to the Freeway Service Patrol to aid in moving the wrecked vehicles off the road. It was reported that one of the vehicles involved in the collision, presumably the Honda, was to be towed off the road to a location on Reservoir, with the second vehicle being deemed drivable.Emergency services were contacted and the Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of the collision. Units were assigned for response and reported to be en route to the scene. As of the last report, units were already present at the scene, along with the Freeway Service Patrol.This collision has caused a disruption to the regular flow of traffic on Sr60. The best alternate route for drivers is to approach from the eastbound 60 Garey on-ramp or to find an alternative route entirely if possible. Drivers are urged to exercise caution while in the vicinity of the incident.
