A traffic collision causing significant disturbance is reported to have occurred on Bouquet Canyon Road. The incident happened approximately three-quarters of a mile from Spunky Canyon. According to the information received, the incident was a solo vehicle collision, involving an older, unspecified vehicle, that ended up down an embankment and possibly hit a power pole.The driver, who managed to get out of the vehicle safely, reported that the vehicle knocked down the power pole during the collision. This has resulted in the disrupted utility pole hanging on the power line. The driver did not initially call 911, sources say.The responders were on the scene quickly, blocking the southbound lanes as a safety precaution. Several units responded to the scene, including one that was assigned to handle vehicle preparation. Immediately after the incident was reported, the local fire department was informed.Super Service Towing service was contacted to remove the vehicle from the ravine. The towing service estimated a response time of around 20 minutes. Additionally, a call was made to Edison, with a response pending, to take care of the disrupted utility pole. The estimated time of arrival will be provided upon their return call. As of now, services are working diligently on scene to ensure a safe and efficient resolution to the situation, but it is advisable to avoid the area if possible.
