A minor traffic collision occurred today on SR91 West near Downey Avenue, according to sources. At approximately 2:39 PM, there was an incident involving two vehicles in the fourth lane. Authorities were alerted and a patrol unit was promptly assigned and directed to the scene. Within a short period of time, the vehicle parties managed to move to the road side.The local fire department was notified of the event to assist, in case there were any injuries or potential fire hazards resulting from the collision. Soon after their alerted, the severity of the collision was upgraded and a medical response was sent out. It turned out, minor injuries were sustained in the collision involving three vehicles.As a result of pain complaints following the collision, the incident type changed from an unknown injury collision to a minor injury collision. The incident caused some disruption in the area.
