Sources say that due to concerns for public safety, ground patrol units halted their chase, though aerial surveillance continued. The suspects were seen exiting their vehicle in the vicinity of 21st Street and attempting to evade capture by navigating through surrounding fences on foot. After the suspects were seen entering an apartment building on E. 20th Street, the Los Angeles Police Department initiated a perimeter lockdown of the area.The current whereabouts and identities of the suspects remain unknown, and the investigation is still ongoing.
