Sources indicate an earlier traffic incident that caused notable disruptions on I405 South near Normandie Avenue. The incident involved a blue truck and at least one other unknown vehicle. A vehicle had overturned in the incident, landing in the middle of the lanes, blocking significant traffic.Shortly after the accident report at 2:57 PM, local emergency responders were informed and swiftly dispatched to the scene. Recovery crews had also been informed to assist with the recovery of the overturned vehicles.During the incident, lanes one, two, and three heading south, just south of Normandie Avenue, were reported as being blocked. Efforts were made immediately to channel traffic flow and manage congestion, leading to the closure of the incident on the responders’ side.As at 3:19 PM, members of the Force Service Patrol (FSP) arrived at the scene and managed the critical lane closures. By 3:25 PM, the situation was controlled, and the FSP closed their incident log regarding this situation. The recovery service, Finishline, was also on the scene, with an estimated time of arrival of 20 minutes as at 3:07 PM. By 4:53 PM, the situation had been entirely resolved, with all affected units cleared from the scene, and traffic flow returned to normal. Updates regarding any injuries sustained during the incident have yet to be provided.
